As a charity leader, it’s all too easy to slip into the mindset of, “If I just put in a few more hours, I can get everything done.” But here's the truth: more hours don’t always lead to more progress. In fact, they often lead straight to burnout.


I know this because I’ve been there. When I started my business, I tried to do everything myself - client work, admin, scheduling, bookkeeping, strategy, content creation… the list was endless. Like a never-ending flight through Neverland, I was juggling it all, believing I could keep adding tasks without losing altitude. But I quickly realised that piling on more responsibilities wasn’t helping my business grow; it was actually holding me back.


It was only when I brought in my own VA (Virtual Assistant) that everything changed.
